Admitted vehicles

In Monza Restricted Area (Monza ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Monza ZTL:

  • Residents;
  • Shop keepers;
  • Car park owners;
  • Delivery goods.

The following kinds of people can enter in Monza ZTL without any authorization:

  • Disabled people;
  • Public transport;
  • Emergency vehicles;
  • Taxi;
  • Police;
  • Militaries;
  • Loading waste;
  • Tow truck.

Time for loading and unloading goods
Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Monza ZTL:
  • from 6.00 to 10.00
  • from 14.00 to 16.00

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Monza ZTL but they need to register their plate number. Residents must contact:

If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police within 72 hours since you entered.
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • Disabled permit.

Hotel guests access
Hotel guests can enter in Monza ZTL for loading and unloading luggage.
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Temporary permits
Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Monza Restricted Area after production of motion for these reasons:
  • bringing ill people to ambulatory
  • weddings and funerals
  • constructions
  • hotel guests
  • private parking

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Monza Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except disabled people.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police within 72 hours since you entered.
