ZTL Areas (AR)

Asti restricted area (ZTL Asti) ,enforced by cameras, concerns the following streets of the historic center: via Cordo Alfieri, via Rossi, via Martorelli, Via d'Azeglio, piazza Alfieri, corso Brofferio, via Cavour, Via XX settembre, via Roero, piazza Statuto e via Q. Sella.

Access to Asti ZTL is watched by 9 cameras located in:
  • Corso Alfieri intersection Corso Dante
  • Via Gardini intersection PIazza Libertà
  • Piazza Statuto intersection via Cavour
  • PIazza san Martino intersection Via Roero
  • Via Balbo
  • Corso Alfieri - Piazza Roma
  • Via san Martino - via Sella
  • via Ranco intersection via Q. Sella
  • via S. Martino intersection via Q. Sella

ZTL working time and days

Asti ZTL  works everyday from 0.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m..

Piazza statuto gate
works:

  • On Working days (from Mondays to Saturdays) from 8.30 Pm to 7,30 Am
  • On  Sunday and on not working days from 0.00 to 24.00

Admitted vehicles

In Asti Restricted Area (Asti ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

Authorized people

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Asti ZTL:

- Residents and Dimorants;
- Park Owners;
- Delivery goods,
- Bringing childern at schools;
- Disabled people ;
- Voluntary organizations;
- Doctors for hom care;
- Publica Administration;
- Hotel guests;
- Temporary permit;
- Elettric vehicles;
- Eco bus;
- Police, Ambulances;
- Public utilities;
- Public Administration;
- Civil Protection;
- taxi and NCC;
- Hearse;
- Night-time surveillance;
- Vehicles direct to Chemist's.

Time for loading and unloading goods
Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Asti ZTL: from 6,00 to 11,00 and from 15,30 to 17,30.
Move and delivery urgent medical goods haven't any time slots.

There are these excptions:

  • Constructions from 6 to 20 (park kess than 1 hour)
  • Home services from 6 to 20
  • Delivery home food from 11 to 23.

disabled access
Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Asti ZTL but you need to register your plate number.
You must fill in the application you can download from Municipality website.

Hotel guests access
Hotel guests can enter in Asti ZTL for loading and unloading luggage (parking no more than 30 minutes).
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Temporary permits
Local Police may give temporary access authorizations to enter in Asti Restricted Area after production of motion.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Asti Restricted Area without any authorization you can  avoid a fine only for urgenties.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police within 48 hours since you entered.
