Access to Merano ZTL is watched by 4 cameras located in:

• Ponte della Posta;
• Corso Libertà superiore intersection piazza Teatro;
• via Galilei (After parking Kellerei);
• via Monte San Zeno (porta Passiria).

Admitted vehicles

In Merano Restricted Area (Merano ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Otranto ZTL:

• Bycicles;
• Residents;
• Delivery goods;
• Police;
• Disabled people;

Time for loading and unloading goods

Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Merano ZTL from 6.00 to 10,00 and from 18.30 to 19.30 .

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Merano ZTL.
If you need to enter you must contact Local Police.  48 hours before you entrance.
You must give the following information:

• Plate number,
• Date and time you entered,
• Disabled permit

We don't know any exceptions about hotel guests inside ZTL.
If you need to enter we advice to contact the Hotel or Local Police.

Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Merano Restricted Area after production of motion.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?

If you got in Merano Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except for urgentes
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police within 48 hours since you entered.
You must call, before your entrance, Local police at +39 0473 250160.
