Orvieto restricted area (ZTL Orvieto) is divided into two different areas with different rules.

• Area n. 1 concernig: P.zza Cahen - Via Roma - Via A. di Cambio - P.zza XXIX Marzo - Via di Loreto - Via del Popolo - P.zza del Popolo - Via della Costituente - Via del Duomo - P.zza del Duomo - Via Soliana - Via Postierla - P.zza Cahen;
• Area n. 2 concerning: Via Pecorelli - V.lo Ripa dell'Olmo, 2 - P.zza Guerrieri Gonzaga - Via Guernieri Gonzaga - P.zza S. Giovenale - Via Volsinia, 1 - P.ta Maggiore - V.lo dei Malcorini - Via Ripa Medici - P.zza Cacciatori del Tevere - Via Alberici - P.zza Clementini - Via I. Scalza - P.zza Febei - Via L. Maitani - Via del Duomo - Via della Costituente - P.zza del Popolo - Via del Popolo - Via di Loreto.

Inside the two areas there are 5 sectors whose gate are enforced by cameras and pillars:

1. Sector 1 entry gate C.so Cavour / P.zza Cahen,exit pillar Via S. Stefano / C.so Cavour;
2. Sector 2 entry gate C.so Cavour / Teatro Mancinelli;
3. Sector 3 exit gate C.so Cavour / P.zza della Repubblica;
4. Sector 4 entry gate Via Maitani / P.zza Febei, barriera entry pillar Via del Duomo;
5. Sector 5 entry gate P.zza del Popolo / Via di Piazza del Popolo / Via Vitozzi.

Orvieto ZTL gate have different time slots:

C.so Cavour / P.zza Cahen gate works

• From 1° October to 31 March on Not working days and on Winter Umbria jazz  :
  • 10:00-16:00
  • 17:00-22:30
• From 1° April to 30 September  every day :
  • 10:00-16:00
  • 17:00-22:30

C.so Cavour / Teatro Mancinelli gate works every day from 00.00 - 24.00;

C.so Cavour / P.zza della Repubblica gate works every day from 00.00 - 24.00

via Maitani / P.zza Febei gate works on not working days

• In Winter (from 16/09 to 14/06): 10.00 - 18.00
• In Sumer (from 15/06 to 15/09): 10.00 - 19.00 / 21.00 - 01.00

P.zza del Popolo / Via di Piazza del Popolo / Via Vitozzi gate works every day from 00.00 - 24.00.

In Orvieto Restricted Area (Orvieto ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.
