ZTL Areas (AR)

Mirano restricted area (ZTL Mirano) concerns the following streets of the historic center: the most important place of the town and via Bastia Entro, Via Bastia Fuori, Via Barche and via XX Settembre.


In Dante Alighieri there is an other ZTL; in this case cehicles longer than 7 m cannot enter.

  • Via Castellantico
  • Via Bastia Fuori
  • Dante Alighieri

ZTL working time and days

Mirano Historic center ZTL works:

  • On Friday from 21.00 to 6.00 am
  • On Saturday from 21.00 to 6.00 of Monday
  • On not working days from 7.00 to 6.00 am.

In Summer (16 June 2014-16 September 2014) Mirano ZTL (in Italian ZTL) works every day from 21 to 6.

Dante Alighieri ZTL works every days from 0.00 to 24.00.

Admitted vehicles

In Mirano Restricted Area (Mirano ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

In Dante alighieri ZTL cannot enter vehicles longer than 7 meters.

Authorized people

Motorcycles and scooters can't enter in Mirano ZTL without a permit.

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Mirano ZTL:

  • Public Administrations;
  • First Aid;
  • Vehicles used for entering in ZTL

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Mirano ZTL:

  • Residents;
  • Private car park owners;
  • Public utilities;
  • Disabled people;
  • Taxi and NCC;
  • Surveillance;
  • Tow truck ;
  • Press;
  • Visiting Doctors;
  • Catering;
  • Delivery urgent medical goods;
  • Shops.

When Mirano ZTL doesn't work, it is possible to deliver goods.

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Mirano ZTL but it is necessary that call before entrance and get authorithation.
If they can prove it was impossible to call before their entrance, they have to inform 'Local Police within 48 hours since they entered.
They must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • Disabled permit

There aren't any hotel in Mirano ZTL.

Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Mirano Restricted Area after production of motion for these categories:
  • services
  • weddings and funerals
  • move
  • bringing ill people to ambulatory
  • hotel guests
  • disabled people
  • visiting doctors

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Mirano Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except urgenties.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police within 48 hours since you entered.
