ZTL working time and days

Ostuni ZTL works everyday from 0.00 to 24.00 except:

  • Via Cattedrale gate open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00; 
  • Via Francesco Cavallo gate open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00; 
  • Via Montegrappa gate open from 8.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00; 
  • Via Francesco Vitale gate open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00;

Admitted vehicles

In Ostuni Restricted Area (Ostuni ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

Zero Emmission vehicles can be authorized to enter.

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Ostuni ZTL:

  • Dimorants;
  • Sales agents;
  • Artisans;
  • Doctors;
  • Delivery goods;
  • Police;
  • Ambulances;

  • Taxi and NCC;
  • Hotel guests;
  • estate agency;
  • Cleaning Company;
  • Building owners;
  • Shops or companies inside the ZTL;

Time for loading and unloading goods

Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Ostuni ZTL from 14.00 to 17,00; they can enter also from 7.00 to 10.00 when ZTL doesn't work.

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Ostuni ZTL.
If you need to enter we advice to contact Local Police. within 120 hours since you entered.
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • Disabled permit

Hotel guests access
Hotel guests can enter in Ostuni ZTL for loading and unloading luggage.
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Ostuni Restricted Area after production of motion.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Ostuni Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except Disabled people.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police. within 120 hours since you entered.
