If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
ZTL Areas (AR)
Terni restricted area (ZTL Terni) covers all the historic center and its boundary concerns: Via della Vittoria,Via Nazario Sauro, Viale Fratti, Viale Cesare Battisti, via Fratelli Cairoli, Via Castello, via Cerquetelli, Lungnera Cimarelli, via Cristoforo Colombo, Corso del Popolo, via Annunziata, Via Aleardi, Viale Prati and via Carducci.
In the restricted area, there is a Pedestrian Area, too.

ZTL working time and days
Terni ZTL works every day from 0.00 to 24.00.
Via Corona (enter) and Via delle Portelle (exit) gates doesn't work every day from 7.00 to 21.00.
Pedestrian gates work every day from 0.00 to 24.00 except 8.00-11.00 and 15.00-18.00 for delivering goods.
Admitted vehicles
In Terni Restricted Area (Terni ZTL ), only four wheel vehicles can't enter without any authorization, therefore motorcycles and scooters can enter without any problem.
Motorcycles and scooters can't enter in Pedestrian area.
Authorized people
Only vehicles definited in CE n° 91/441 or after directive and GPL and Methane Vehicles can enter in Terni ZTL.
The following kinds of people can enter in Terni ZTL :
- Bycicles;
- Police and Emergency Vehicles;
- Disabled people;
- private park owners;
- Eelctric scooters;
- Electric bus;
- Taxi and NCC;
- Zero Emission vehicles;
- Vehicles for jewels.
The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Terni ZTL:
- Residents and Dimorants;
- Private car park owners;
- Sales agents;
- Doctors;
- Shop keepers inside ZTL;
- Artisans;,
- Delivery goods;
- Press;
- Tecnology services.
The following categories can delivery goods in Terni ZTL without any time slots:
- perishable goods, medical goods, jewels by armored vehicles, newspapers;
- couriers;
- jewels;
- particular instances.
If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police (FAX: 0744 5441406 the free number: 800 144 605) within 3 days since you entered.
You must give the following information:
- Plate number,
- Date and time you entered,
- Disabled permit,
- Identify Documents.
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.
If you need a temporary permit you have to go to 'portineria dell'USI (piazzale Bosco)' open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 20.00, on Saturday from 8.00 to 13.00.
On Saturday aftenoon, on Sunday and on not working days temporary permit is given by Local Police..
